This course is developed for those who are responsible for leading or participating in implementing their organisation's continuing improvement and problem solving programs which involve risk analyses. Attendees will learn how to take emotion, subjectivity, and guesswork out of risk analysis. By understanding how to use simple but effective tools for quantifying risk, an organisation can make more confident intelligent decisions about choosing increasing exposures to opportunities and decreasing exposure to threats.
1 Day Introduction to Risk Management
This one day course is designed to provide participants with a basic overview of the process for managing risk based on the new AS/NZS ISO 31000:2009 Standard. Topics covered will include:

- What is risk and why manage it?
- The context in which we must manage risk
- AS/NZS ISO 31000:2009 Risk Management as the foundation of an organisational risk process and language.
